Ashtavakra Gita Verse 18.63
भावनाऽभावनासक्ता दृष्टिर्मूढस्य सर्वदा ।
भाव्यभावनया सा तु स्वस्थस्यादृष्टिरूपिणी ॥ ६३ ॥
The mind of the fool is always caught in an opinion about becoming or avoiding something, but the wise man's nature is to have no opinions about becoming and avoiding.
The meaning of this verse is that the ignorant person is attached to the notions of existence and non-existence, and is constantly swayed by the dualities of likes and dislikes, desires and aversions, gain and loss, etc. He is not aware of his True Nature, which is beyond all these concepts and modifications. He is deluded by his own mental projections and suffers from bondage and misery.
The wise person, on the other hand, is free from all such attachments and opinions. He knows that his True Nature is Pure Consciousness, which is neither existent nor non-existent, neither affected nor unaffected, neither bound nor liberated. He is always at peace, content, and blissful, regardless of the external circumstances. He is not influenced by his mind, but rather witnesses it as a mere instrument. He is the embodiment of the vision of the Self, which is the Ultimate Goal of the Ashtavakra Gita.

There is no other seer, no other hearer, no other thinker, no other Knower. He is the one and all, that imperishable Brahman. He is the imperishable Brahman indeed.
